The USA Today/ESPN Top 25 Coaches Poll for the week of Jan. 9 is live, and there's some more shakeups, as expected. The top two spots remain the same, while Duke falls out of the top five to No. 6, Ohio State moves back in to No. 5, while North Carolina and Baylor jump up two spots to hold No. 3 and No. 4, respectively. The top five has essentially been shifting each week, though undefeated Syracuse still sits at No. 1.

For the Michigan State Spartans, they're moving on up once again. They're really on a tear, after starting the season with two-straight losses, they've gone on to win 14-straight games, including a win over the No. 19 Wisconsin Badgers in their last outing. Before that, they beat the Indiana Hoosiers on Dec. 28, and have now firmly established themselves near the top. They find themselves at No. 7, inside the top ten for the first time, up from No. 11 last week.

The Michigan Wolverines, on the other hand, are holding in place at No. 13. This is due to the fact they've suffered their third loss of the season, on Jan. 5 when they lose to the Hoosiers. But they did pick up a win in their last outing, also a win over the aforementioned Wisconsin Badgers, and as such, are holding for now. All things considered, No. 13 is not a bad place to be for the Wolverines.
