SI.com's Larry Lage spoke at length to Michigan State graduate Draymond Green, talking about what he expects from the 2012 NBA Draft. Green is optimistic about his prospects:
↵↵↵"No one has more heart or a better work ethic than me,'' Green said in a recent interview, gazing across a practice court toward two of the Final Four banners he helped the Spartans earn.
↵[...]
↵"I hear I could go anywhere from 20 to 30,'' he said. "But you never know, so I'm going to control what I can control and that's to be ready for any and every opportunity I get to show what I can do.''
↵
Green has a workout scheduled with the Boston Celtics, one of the teams to have expressed an interest in the Big 10 Player of the Year. Green is in a bit of a no man's land where he's seen by some as too small to play power forward, but not quick enough to play power forward. Still, the Utah Jazz see the player as having a lot of potential. They're not alone in that assessment, so draft day may bring big things for Draymond Green.
