ESPN has released its schedule for the 2012 ESPN Tip-Off Marathon -- always a big day in July. The Tip-Off Marathon is an event that lasts a full 24 hours to get the college basketball schedule off to a proper start. There are plenty of games that aren't particularly noteworthy, such as Davidson at New Mexico -- at 2:00 a.m. -- and Stony Brook at Rider -- at 6:00 a.m. -- but there's also plenty worth noting.
↵For one, Michigan State will be taking on Kansas in the Champions Classic in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. The Spartans will be playing at 7 p.m. ET and will be the second-to-last game of the 24 hours. Duke vs. Kentucky will be the final game, coming on 30 minutes after MSU/KU. On top of that, for the region, Detroit will be taking on St. John's at 2 p.m. ET.
↵All of this is on Tuesday, Nov. 13, and you can view the full schedule at ESPN.
