Former Ohio State defensive lineman Kenny Hayes will transfer to Toledo, according to a report in the Toledo Blade.
The Blade cited a source close to the Toledo program. Two weeks ago, it was reported that Hayes was transferring to Michigan State, but when Mark Dantonio was asked about Hayes earlier this week, he wouldn't talk about it.
"I'm going to stay the course and talk about the players who are here. This is all about Michigan State football."
Hayes is a former four-star recruit who redshirted as a true freshman last season. He missed spring practices while dealing with headaches. He asked for, and received, a release from his scholarship in the offseason.
