VIDEO: Michigan State basketball team goes trick-or-treating

The Michigan State Spartans men's basketball team dressed up and went trick-or-treating on Halloween.

They dress up as members of the Michigan State Spartans men's basketball team for more than enough nights throughout the year, so the MSU players put on more thematic costumes when they hit the streets for trick-or-treat on Halloween.

A group of grown men 6'4 and taller coming to your door in masks isn't scary, right? The guys appeared to have plenty of fun in the video posted by MSUSpartans.com (embedded below), and they even got a chance to take some photos with local kids in the community, so it turned out to be a very nice event.

The Spartans take on St. Cloud State in an exhibition game on Friday at the Breslin Center, so the Halloween-themed event provided a nice break after MSU pounded Northwood (Fla.), 85-57, on Tuesday night.

St. Cloud State has three starters returning from a squad that went 20-9 last season, so this exhibition should be a nice test to see how sharp MSU is playing at the moment. But seriously, will the team have a candy-related hangover on Friday night?
