Michigan State vs. Wisconsin 2012: Game time, TV schedule, odds and more

Spartans, Badgers renew rivalry after two great games last season.

Jonathan Daniel

The Michigan St. Spartans (4-4) try to end a two-game losing streak at 3:30 p.m. Saturday on ABC when they travel to Madison to take on the Wisconsin Badgers, who are 6-2 on the season.

Michigan State's offense has struggled all season and the Spartans have lost three of their last four games to fall out of contention for the Big Ten title and they are in danger of not even becoming bowl eligible. They face a team in Wisconsin moving in the opposite direction. The Badgers struggled early in the season, but have won three straight and five of their last six.

The teams played two of the more exciting games of the season last year. Michigan State won in the regular season, 37-31, on a Hail Mary caught by Keith Nichol for a touchdown as time expired. Wisconsin won 42-39 in overtime in the Big Ten championship game.

This season, Michigan State's only source of consistent offense has been running back Le'Veon Bell, who has 984 rushing yards and eight touchdowns.

Wisconsin has been led by the running game as well. Montee Ball has 982 yards and 13 touchdowns and James White has 470 yards and six touchdowns.

Wisconsin is favored by 5.5 points.
