Brent Petway Is Now A Harlem Globetrotter

Brent Petway dazzled Michigan basketball fans during his time in Ann Arbor with his awesome dunking skills. He couldn't do a whole lot else at U-M, but he actually spent some time in the NBA Development League and had a solid couple of years there. Now, he is moving on to a different type of basketball team: the Harlem Globetrotters.

"It takes a special player to be a Harlem Globetrotter, as one needs not only outstanding basketball skills, but showmanship and the ability to touch lives all over the world on and off the court," said Sweet Lou Dunbar, the team’s director of player personnel. "We feel we have another strong rookie class with that potential."

Also joining the Globetrotters is Woody Payne, who is from Inkster and played for Detroit Mercy last season.
