A week ago, Michigan State dropped as many as 11 spots in the polls thanks to its loss to Iowa. This week, by simply beating Minnesota and watching teams ahead of them lose, the Spartans have made their way back up to the top 10. MSU moved from 15th to 10th in the USA Today Coaches Poll, and in the AP Poll, MSU has gone from 16th to 10th.

Michigan State was actually ranked higher in the BCS than in the human polls last week thanks to the computers. I don't think that will happen again, but the Spartans have a great shot of being ranked 10th in the new BCS standings when they are released tonight.
