Since the last recruiting roundup, which discussed Michigan losing two recruits and almost having another decommit, the Wolverines have actually added three commits. It's pretty good that Michigan has been able to add to its recruiting class during this time of uncertainty with the program, as it's possible a new coach could be in place in only a couple weeks. Despite that, the following three players have become commits in the last two weeks:
↵- ↵
- Desmond Morgan, a three-star inside linebacker from Holland, Michigan, committed on Dec. 13. He also has offers from Akron, Bowling Green, Buffalo and Northwestern. ↵
- Maryland cornerback Blake Countess became Michigan's next commit a few days later. He is a four-star CB with an extensive offer list that includes Arkansas, Cincinnati, Duke, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Louisville, Maryland, NC State, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Stanford, Tennessee, Wake Forest, West Virginia and Wisconsin. ↵
- Thursday night, Michigan picked up a commitment from California kicker Matt Goudis, who decommitted from Boise State. The Wolverines' kicking situation this season has been an absolute embarrassment, so the obvious hope is that Goudis will come in and immediately take over the job. Recruiting kickers is really hit or miss considering Brendan Gibbons, one of the kickers currently on the roster, was highly rated coming out of high school, but for Michigan's sake I hope Goudis' high ratings translate to college. ↵
