Purdue Rolls Over Michigan, 80-57

Ann Arbor, MI (Sports Network) - JaJuan Johnson finished with 22 points and E'Twaun Moore scored 21, leading 12th-ranked Purdue to an 80-57 victory over Michigan in the teams' Big Ten opener.

Johnson added eight rebounds and three blocks, while Moore posted nine boards and four assists for the Boilermakers (12-1, 1-0 Big Ten), who have won seven consecutive games.

Ryne Smith went 5-for-6 from three-point range and added 17 points in the victory.

Stu Douglass led Michigan (10-3, 0-1) with 15 points, but no other Wolverines player reached double digits as they had a seven-game win streak broken.

The game was still tight with under 12 minutes to play, but Purdue pulled away after getting hot at the offensive end and limiting the Wolverines to eight points over the final eight minutes.
