A Look At 'SportsNation' In Ann Arbor

ESPN2's "SportsNation" was in Ann Arbor yesterday, as part of this week's tour around the Big Ten. AnnArbor.com's Mike Rothstein caught up with Michelle Beadle, who knew exactly how to play to the crowd, judging from her choice of attire.

As you might expect, Beadle was a sensation with a crowd mostly filled with young college men.

During rehearsal, a Michigan student yelled out a marriage proposal to Beadle. Showing her comedic timing -- she said earlier in the day she wouldn’t be opposed to trying out late night television at some point -- Beadle deadpanned, "I don’t believe in marriage."

Rothstein's feature also details the history of "SportsNation," how it was created, how the hosts were hired, the influences in designing the show, and what goes into taking the show on the road. It's definitely worth your time to read this afternoon. (Or evening, whenever you're reading this.)
