Michigan's Denard Robinson Leaves Game In First Quarter

Hold your breath, Michigan fans. Denard Robinson left the game versus Bowling Green with approximately four minutes left in the first quarter after apparently having his knee jammed into the turf on a tackle. The incident occurred after Robinson ripped off a 47-yard run.

According to sideline reports, Robinson had his left knee run through a battery of tests for ligament injuries. He was also checked for thigh and rib problems.

Devin Gardner took over at quarterback for the Wolverines and finished off the offensive series with an 11-yard touchdown and a 21-0 Michigan lead.

Before leaving the game, Robinson again surpassed 100 yards rushing, compiling 129 yards on just five carries, along with two touchdowns. Robinson also completed 4-of-4 passes for 60 yards.
