How was Denard Robinson feeling in the moments immediately following Michigan’s 65-21 demolition of Bowling Green? Michigan Daily beat writer Nicole Auerbach got an update directly from the source on the field, and posted it to Twitter:
Denard on field after game: I’m alright. I’m good.
Word is that Robinson was cleared to play in the second half, if needed. But the Michigan coaches obviously didn’t want to take a chance. Plus, this provided the chance to give Devin Gardner and Tate Forcier extended playing time. Both excelled with the opportunity.
In his first appearance of the season, Forcier set a Michigan record by completing 12-of-12 passes. He accumulated 110 yards with one touchdown.
