If you ever looked at any of the apparel Rich Rodriguez wore while he was Michigan's football coach and thought, "Hey, I'd like to have that," you're in luck this Saturday.
↵Rodriguez obviously has no more use for his old Michigan gear and donated 432 items to a local branch of the Salvation Army. (If he's hanging onto anything for nostalgia, that's between him and his family.) Shirts, jackets, hats and other such items for the Rodriguez collection will be available in a Coach's Closet tent sale from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Wayne location of the Salvation Army Thrift Store.
↵If you were hoping the now former Michigan coach would be in attendance to meet the people and sign autographs, however, you're out of luck. (But really, were you expecting that?) Major John Aren asked Rodriguez if he might be interested, but the coach passed.
↵↵↵↵"He kind of took a deep breath and said his buddies are probably going to take him someplace warm this weekend," Aren said.
↵
Saturday! Saturday! Saturday! It's a mega monster Michigan football apparel sale! At the Salvation Army Thrift Store in Wayne, Michigan!
↵So does anything from the Rodriguez collection immediately jump to mind as something you'd like to own?
