Michigan Gets Blown Out At Indiana For Fourth Loss In A Row

Bloomington, IN (Sports Network) - Verdell Jones III scored 24 points to lead the Indiana Hoosiers to an 80-61 victory over the Michigan Wolverines in Big Ten Conference play at Assembly Hall.

Christian Watford added a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds for Indiana (10-8, 1-4 BigTen), while Jordan Hulls contributed 13 points.

Darius Morris registered 22 points and dished out seven assists for Michigan (11-7, 1-4), while Jordan Morgan, Zack Novak and Tim Hardaway Jr each tallied 10 points.

Indiana went into the break with a 30-15 lead after holding Michigan to a woeful 23.8 percent clip from the floor in the first half.

The Hoosiers were sensational in the second stanza, as they shot a sizzling 70.8 percent from the field.

Indiana dominated play on the glass, out-rebounding Michigan by a 37-18 margin.
