A broken water pipe at Michigan Stadium on Dec. 23 caused damage to electrical, carpeting and ceiling tiles. Via AnnArbor.com:
↵↵↵The water pipe broke on the second floor of the east concourse, causing significant water damage to the carpet on the plaza level and multiple ceiling tiles, reports said. Water also filled the elevator shaft, causing significant electrical damage, reports said.

It's not clear how much the damage will cost, but with the Big Chill at the Big House on Dec. 11, Michigan Stadium isn't set to host any major events and should give the university plenty of time to prepare for the 2011 football season.
