Darius Morris' Double-Double Helps Michigan Fend Off Penn State

Darius Morris recorded his fifth double-double of the season as Michigan erased a five-point halftime deficit to beat Penn State 76-69 for its first Big Ten win.

Morris had 20 points and 10 assists for the Wolverines (11-3, 1-1), who trailed the Nittany Lions 36-31 at the break. PSU’s Talor Battle led all scorers with 31 points.

Four Michigan players recorded double-digit point totals, with Zack Novak, Jordan Morgan and Evan Smotrycz all tallying at least 10 points. Morgan added nine rebounds to go along with his 10 points.

Jeff Brooks added 16 points and David Jackson contributed 15 for the Nittany Lions (8-5, 1-1).
