Wins from both Michigan State and Michigan yesterday predictably resulted in them moving up the polls today.

Michigan State's 37-21 win in Iowa City helped them move up a spot in this week's USA Today Coaches Poll from No. 13 to No. 12. With Penn State losing to Nebraska yesterday, Michigan State is now the highest ranked Big Ten team.

Michigan's win over Illinois helped the Wolverines move up three spots to No. 18, setting up a Top 20 match up with No. 16 Nebraska next week.

Elsewhere in the Big Ten, Wisconsin moved up to No. 13 and Penn State dropped from No. 12 all the way to No. 21, where the Wolverines were ranked last week.
