Michigan Vs. Oakland Final Score: Wolverines Dominate In Second Half, Win 90-80

The Michigan Wolverines suffered a scare in the first half of their game against the un-ranked Golden Grizzlies, entering the second frame tied at 32-32. But the Wolverines would gut it out and out-score Oakland by ten points in the second half, ultimately walking away with a 90-80 win. With the win, the No. 19 Wolverines move to 7-2 on the season, while Oakland falls to 6-4.

Evan Smotrycz led the way for Michigan with 20 points, nine rebounds, two steals, an assist and a block. He shot very well on the night, going 7-for-8, and making 4-of-5 three point attempts. Reggie Hamilton led the way for Oakland with 28 points, three rebounds, four assists and three steals, but was just 7-for-20 in shooting. He made two three pointers, and had a whopping 12 free throw attempts. He made all 12 of them, too.

Travis Bader his a three pointer at the end of the first half, and that's what tied the game heading into the second. It was close until about five minutes into the second half, when Tim Hardaway Jr. sunk a couple of three pointers to extend Michigan's lead.
