One Shining Moment 2011 Video Features Michigan Basketball, Maize Rage

Although the NCAA championship game between UConn and Butler was, well, quite tough to watch given all we heard was the sound of bricks hitting the rim, the night wasn't a complete loss. At the conclusion of the tournament One Shining Moment was once again played to highlights from the Big Dance.

Thankfully, this year's One Shining Moment used the Luther Vandross version of the song rather than the disaster that was recorded by Jennifer Hudson last year. That experiment was abandoned in favor of the much better version done by Vandross, and like every year, it was the perfect way to cap off three weeks of madness.

You can check out a video of 2011's One Shining Moment below, and make sure to keep an eye on the inclusion of the Maize Rage dancing and Stu Douglass slamming home a dunk after receiving a behind the back pass from Darius Morris. As a Michigan fan, it's nice seeing the maize and blue in One Shining Moment, and as the Maize Rage said, the icing on the cake was that there were no Michigan State highlights. Enjoy:
