Michigan Football's Darryl Stonum Hit With 2 Charges

Michigan wide receiver Darryl Stonum will be arraigned on Friday morning in Ann Arbor on two charges: one for operating while intoxicated second-offense and one for driving with a suspended license. These charges stem from Stonum's arrest last week for a DUI, his second drunken driving-related arrest in the last three years.

From AnnArbor.com, here is more on the charges:

The misdemeanor charges were filed on Tuesday by the Washtenaw County Prosecutor's Office. Stonum, who is from Stafford, Texas, and is entering his senior year, faces up to a year in jail if convicted. It's unclear whether Stonum has an attorney.

Stonum will have to deal with the legal system, as well as Brady Hoke before he is able to think about playing football again for Michigan. He has been suspended indefinitely by the Wolverines and will have to work his way back into the good graces of Hoke in order to rejoin the program.
