Big Ten Network's Primetime Schedule Includes Michigan-Northwestern Game

Thursday night on the Big Ten Network, the channel's primetime football schedule for the 2011 season was revealed. Seven games are on the slate of primetime games, which is in addition to the primetime games already announced for ESPN/ABC.

As announced previously, the 2011 primetime schedule will kick off on Friday, Sept. 2. That night Michigan State will take on Youngstown State at 7:30 p.m. in the Spartans' season opener.

The other game on the primetime schedule involving a team from Michigan is the one between the Wolverines and Northwestern Wildcats on Oct. 8. That game at Northwestern will kick off at 7 p.m. and is the first of three straight primetime games involving the 'Cats.

Sept. 2: Youngstown State at Michigan State, 7:30 p.m.

Sept. 10: Virginia at Indiana, 7 p.m.

Sept. 17: Arizona State at Illinois, 7 p.m.

Sept. 24: North Dakota State at Minnesota, 7 p.m.

Oct. 8: Michigan at Northwestern, 7 p.m.

Oct. 15: Northwestern at Iowa, 7 p.m.

Oct. 22: Penn State at Northwestern, 7 p.m.
