Chad Ford's Top 100: Darius Morris Ranked 28th

Michigan basketball's Darius Morris is ranked 28th in Chad Ford's top 100 rankings for the 2011 NBA draft. He is just behind the likes of UCLA's Tyler Honeycutt and USC's Nikola Vucevic and just ahead of Davis Bertans from Latvia and Richmond's Justin Harper.

Among point guards, Morris is eighth. Kyrie Irving, Brandon Knight and Kemba Walker lead the way, and Jimmer Fredette, Josh Selby, Charles Jenkins and Reggie Jackson comprise the rest of the top seven. Morris is next in line, ahead of Malcolm Lee and Norris Cole in the top 10.

Ford's recent 2011 NBA mock draft still has Morris just outside of the first round. His stock seems to be on the rise again, though, so perhaps he will jump back into the first round in Ford's next mock draft. The Sporting News actually has Morris going 17th overall to the New York Knicks in its NBA mock draft, so anything is certainly possible come draft day.
