Kellen Jones, Christian Pace Not On Michigan's Fall Football Roster

Michigan's fall football media guide was released this past weekend. In it is a fall football roster, giving fans their first look at number changes for returning players and what numbers incoming freshmen will wear. It also gives fans a look at which players aren't returning, and this roster has two notable absences: offensive lineman Christian Pace and linebacker Kellen Jones.

According to the Detroit News, Pace is no longer on the roster because of a medical issue. He dealt with injuries throughout last season, and it appears they have forced him to end his career. That also might be the case for defensive tackle Terry Talbott and running back Teric Jones, who are also apparently being classified as medical exceptions.

Pace is absent from the roster because he is no longer a student at the University of Michigan. Michigan did not provide a reason as to why he is no longer enrolled.

The most notable player that is on the roster is wide receiver Darryl Stonum, who was suspended indefinitely after a second drunken driving-related arrest. He is still suspended indefinitely, but he is on the fall roster right now.
