ESPN's College GameDay is already scheduled to return to Ann Arbor next month for the first time since 2007. The show will be in Ann Arbor the second week of the college football season for Michigan's primetime matchup against Notre Dame, and the atmosphere is expected to be off the charts.
↵ESPN announced on Thursday that the basketball version of the show will also be making a trip to Ann Arbor. Michigan will play Ohio State on Feb. 18, and Rece Davis, Jay Bilas, Digger Phelps, Hubert Davis and Bob Knight will set up shop at Crisler Arena in the morning for the show. The Michigan-OSU game will tip off at 9 p.m. on ESPN with the second part of GameDay serving as its lead-in at 8 p.m.
↵This is not the first time College GameDay will come to the state of Michigan for basketball, but it is the first time the show is going to Ann Arbor rather than East Lansing. Michigan State has served as a host to the show twice, and overall they have been involved in six games that were attended by the GameDay crew. Feb. 18 will mark the show's first ever stop in Ann Arbor for a basketball game.
↵Other stops for the basketball version of College GameDay in 2012 include North Carolina at Florida State, Louisville at Pittsburgh, Washington at Arizona, Kansas at Missouri, Kentucky at Vanderbilt, Syracuse at Connecticut and North Carolina at Duke or Texas at Kansas.
