Maui Invitational 2011 Bracket: Michigan To Open Against Memphis

The bracket for the 2011 Maui Invitational is set. In the opening round, Michigan will take on Memphis. Duke will also take on Tennessee in the first round on Michigan's side of the bracket, meaning win or lose, the Wolverines are set to have a rematch from the 2011 NCAA tournament (there is also a loser's bracket).

Michigan's game against Memphis is the first one that will be played at this year's Maui Invitational. It is set to begin at 3 p.m. ET on Nov. 21. ESPN2 will broadcast the game. Tennessee vs. Duke will start at 5:30 p.m. that same day, and later in the night UCLA will take on Chaminade and Georgetown will take on Kansas.

There are a lot of good teams in this tournament, and Michigan will end up playing a total of three games while in Maui regardless of if they lose none or all of the games. If the Wolverines do win their opening game against Memphis, they will play in the semifinals at 7 p.m. on Nov. 22. If they manage to win that game as well, Michigan will play in the finals at 10 p.m. on Nov. 23.
