VIDEO: Denard Robinson Gets A Shout-Out From President Obama

President Obama visited the University of Michigan on Friday morning to give a speech. The location of the speech was Michigan's football practice facility, the Al Glick Field House, so many members of the team were in attendance, including quarterback Denard Robinson. Obama took note of Robinson's presence and noted that it's a "good deal for Michigan" that No. 16 is returning for his senior season. Here's video of Obama's comments, which also include a shout-out to the Sugar Bowl champions and the basketball team (1:18-2:42 mark):

Here is a transcript of what Obama had to say about Robinson and Michigan's football and basketball teams:

"Where's Denard? Denard Robinson's in the house. I hear you're coming back, man. That is a good deal for Michigan. They're trying to draft you for President. He's gotta graduate before he runs for President. There's an age limit. [...]

"It is good to be in the home of the Sugar Bowl champion Wolverines. And with Denard coming back this will be a team to be reckoned with.

↵

"I understand your basketball team is pretty good this year, too. Alright. Go Blue."

I think it's safe to say that last line will be used in recruiting videos for years to come.
