Michigan WR Darryl Stonum Cited By Police Again

Michigan wide receiver Darryl Stonum, who redshirtted this season as part of an indefinite suspension for a previous DUI, is in trouble with the law once again. On Thursday morning, Ann Arbor police pulled Stonum over and he was ticketed for driving on a suspended license. According to AnnArbor.com, he was not taken into custody for this latest incident:

Stonum, 21, was stopped by Ann Arbor police after he checked in with probation at 7:03 a.m., said Steve Hill, Stonum's probation officer at the court. Hill said Stonum was not taken into custody.

A probation violation form is being generated, but so far Stonum has not been charged with violating probation.

Court records also allege that Stonum lied to Hill prior to the traffic stop, telling him that he got to the court's probation office after being dropped off in the area by a female friend.
