The Michigan Wolverines may be looking back at their awful 64-49 loss against Ohio State and they're likely looking forward as well to their rivalry game against the Michigan State Spartans on Sunday, but they can't afford to look past their game Wednesday as they face the Indiana Hoosiers.
Michigan are fourth in the Big 10 at present but have had a strange streak of six games where they have alternated wins and losses. With a loss to Ohio State the pattern would seem to indicate that a home win for the Wolverines is in the cards, but Indiana are a team hungry and desperate for a victory. After a strong start in conference play the Hoosiers have dropped several games to leave themselves at 5-5 in the Big 10. With both teams in the rankings right now but struggling a bit, it should be a chippy affair to see who can pull themselves up in the conference.
Indiana won the last meeting between these two teams, a close 73-71 affair.
The game is at the Crisler Center at 6:30 PM ET.
