Manny Harris Signs 10-Day Contract With Cavs, According To Tweets

One the heels of winning his second D-League Player of the Week award, former Michigan star Manny Harris has signed a 10-day contract with the Cavaliers, according to tweets.

According to tweets from Cleveland Plain Dealer's official Cavs Twitter feed and from Cavs owner Dan Gilbert, Cleveland has signed former Michigan Wolverine Manny Harris to a 10-day contract.

The Plain Dealer tweet read,

Manny Harris has been signed to a 10 day deal by #Cavs

Gilbert's tweet:

Manny back in the house! Welcome back Wolverine.....

Harris played in 54 games for the Cavs last season, averaging 17 minutes and 5.9 points per game. As a senior at Michigan in 2009-10, he averaged 18.1 points, six boards and four assists.

Harris had been playing for the Canton Charge of the D-League. On Monday he was named the D-League player of the week, the second time he'd won the award this season. He is the only player to have nabbed two player of the week awards this season.

In two games last week, Harris went nuts for an average of 41.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 3.5 steals. In 17 games with Canton, Harris averaged 21.4 points, 7.9 boards and 3.3 assists. He was third in the D-League in scoring and shot 47 percent from the floor.
