Michigan Vs. Northwestern: Wolverines Dominate Overtime In Pivotal 67-55 Win

The Michigan Wolverines dominated overtime to secure a crucial 67-55 victory against the Northwestern Wildcats at Northwestern on Tuesday night.

Michigan remained tied with Ohio State within one-half game of the Big Ten Conference-leading Michigan State Spartans by erasing a seven-point halftime deficit and outscoring Northwestern in the overtime period 18-6. The Wolverines opened the extra session with three straight three-pointers and never looked back.

Trey Burke paced Michigan with 19 points to go along with six rebounds and four assists. He was joined in double figures by Tim Hardaway Jr. (14 points) and Stu Douglass (12 points).

John Shurna, who recently became Northwestern's all-time leading scorer, led the Wildcats with 14 points.
