For the third straight year, Michigan and Ohio State will square off in the Big Ten tournament. In both 2010 and 2011, Ohio State beat Michigan in Indianapolis to end the Wolverines' run in the Big Ten tournament. Last year, Ohio State won 68-61 in the semifinals. A year earlier, Evan Turner hit a three-pointer from near center court at the buzzer to give Ohio State a 69-68 win over Michigan in the quarterfinals.

This year's game between Michigan and Ohio State in Indy is once again a matchup in the semifinals. It comes after Michigan beat Minnesota in overtime by a score of 73-69 on Friday and Ohio State dominated Purdue en route to an 88-71 victory in the quarterfinals.

During the regular season, Michigan and Ohio State split their series. Ohio State won the game against Michigan in Columbus 64-49. The Wolverines returned the favor with a 56-51 victory on Feb. 18 at home against the Buckeyes with ESPN's College GameDay in attendance.

Michigan is looking for its first appearance in the Big Ten tournament championship game since the very first edition of this event back in 1998. That title has since been vacated by Michigan, but Robert Traylor led the Wolverines to a win over Purdue in the first ever Big Ten tournament title game.

Ohio State, on the other hand, is looking to continue its Big Ten tournament winning streak. The Buckeyes have won the last two titles and seven straight games in the tournament. The Buckeyes have also been to three straight finals. If they beat Michigan, Ohio State will advance to its eighth Big Ten tournament championship game. Ohio State has won four Big Ten tournament titles, although the one in 2002 was vacated.

Saturday's semifinal between Michigan and Ohio State will begin 25 minutes (approximately 4:05 p.m. ET) after the end of Michigan State vs. Wisconsin. CBS will have the broadcast.
