Beyond the hilariousness of Michigan drawing Ohio -- the actual Ohio, not Ohio State -- is a very interesting matchup. Already some experts are calling for the Bobcats to upset the Wolverines and send the No. 4 seed in the Midwest Region packing. The Bobcats had a very good 2011-12 regular season and won the MAC tournament, so Michigan definitely can't take them lightly.
Dave Ryan of Maize n Brew and SB Nation Detroit thinks an area of the game to watch is turnovers. Here's why:
The Bobcats are one of the best teams in America at forcing turnovers on defense (14.0 steal%), and will put constant pressure on freshman Trey Burke and Michigan's ball-handlers.
Burke has been outstanding this season, but he struggled mightily against Ohio State on Saturday in the Big Ten tournament. He turned the ball over a career-high eight times and only scored five points. He set a career-high in points with 30 a night earlier against Minnesota, but he showed signs of weakness against OSU. He can't have a repeat performance on Friday against Ohio if the Wolverines want to advance to the round of 32.
