Michigan Vs. Ohio Score: Bobcats Up 35-29 On Wolverines At Halftime

Going into the 2012 NCAA tournament, Ohio was one of the more popular upset picks. The 13-seeded Bobcats brought a lot of momentum into the Big Dance after winning the MAC tournament, and so far they are keeping that momentum going against Michigan. At halftime in Nashville, Ohio leads Michigan by a score of 35-29.

Michigan is trailing in this game because Ohio's offense has been lights out. The Bobcats are shooting 52.2 percent from the field and 44.4 percent from three-point land. Point guard D.J. Cooper has scored 13 points for Ohio, and so far Michigan hasn't been able to figure out how to stop him.

Michigan's leading scorer is Tim Hardaway Jr., who had 10 points in the first half. As a team, the Wolverines are shooting only 42.9 percent from the field and 27.3 percent from behind the arc, so they will have to get it going to come back and win this game.

The score in this game was actually once 20-20. Ohio proceeded to go on a 15-2 run before Michigan scored seven straight points to finish the first half. Michigan needs to keep its run going in the second half to get back in this one and advance to the third round of the tournament.
