Spring practice opened for Michigan on Saturday, and five players from last year's team are no longer with the program.
↵One of the players to leave was linebacker Isaiah Bell, who didn't play a single snap in three years at Michigan. He departed the program last week.
↵The other four players are still at the University of Michigan for now; they just aren't going to be on the football team next season after they graduate. They are center Rocko Khoury, long snapper George Morales, running back Michael Cox and wide receiver Terrence Robinson. All four players had another year of eligibility remaining, but they won't be back for what would have been their fifth year at Michigan.
↵Because the players are set to graduate and still have eligibility, they can transfer elsewhere and play immediately. Cox is planning on going this route, and he has already decided to transfer to UMass. He is from Massachusetts, and he will get to return to the Big House on Sept. 15 when UMass takes on Michigan.
