Michigan Football Recruiting: Braylon Edwards Not Happy Alma Mater Hasn't Called His Brother

Michigan is cleaning up in recruiting, nabbing 12 Rivals.com four-star recruits in its class of 2013. All the hoopla surrounding their commitments has former Michigan wide receiver Braylon Edwards peeved the Wolverines haven't called on his younger brother Berkley, who appears to be pretty dirty [via Yahoo!]:

"I don't understand how my brother has the 8th (fastest) time in the country in the 60m, ran for 1800 yards last year and 20 and UofM wontcall," Edwards Tweeted. [...]

"Love my school and I played for coach (Hoke) but call my brother before its too late and you guys miss out like Lloyd would have ifnot forsoup,"

Berkley doesn't even have a star rating on Rivals or Scout, despite having a 4.52 40-yard dash time and over 1,500 yards and 18 touchdowns in his junior season.

Michigan could still offer Berkley (after all, Michigan didn't come calling for Braylon until midway through his senior high school season). However, if there's one thing working against Berkley winding up in Maize n' Blue, it's his big brother Braylon, who can't seem to do anything right these days. This is just another instance of that.

If not Michigan, it's possible that Berkley winds up at Michigan's intrastate rival -- Michigan State hosted Berkely last week at one of its junior days.
