After falling behind by a large margin early on, the Michigan Wolverines rallied to tie the Minnesota Golden Gophers, but a late three-pointer by Austin Hollins has put Minnesota in front 23-20 at halftime of their Big Ten quarterfinal matchup.
Trey Burke has led the Wolverines, and all scorers, with 13 of Michigan's 20 first half points. Hollins and Rodney Williams have scored eight points apiece for the Golden Gophers, while Andre Hollins has chipped in Minnesota's seven other points.
The Wolverines were held without a field goal for the first 6:27 of the game, while Minnesota opened the game on an 11-3 run.
The winner of this game will face the winner of tonight's Ohio State-Purdue match-up in Saturday afternoon's semifinals.
