Michigan Football Recruiting: Ty Isaac Commits To USC

One of Michigan's top targets in the class of 2013 committed on Tuesday, but not to the Wolverines. Illinois running back Ty Isaac had Michigan among his finalists, but he decided to commit to USC. He announced the decision on Twitter.

Isaac visited USC earlier this month and was basically down to the Trojans and Wolverines. His timetable for a decision changed quite a bit following the visit, and now he is set to join USC next year.

Michigan has already received commitments from running backs Wyatt Shallman and Deveon Smith for 2013. Adding Isaac would have really been nice, but now Michigan will likely take a look at running backs like Derrick Green and Jordan Wilkins as it tries to solidify the position for next year's recruiting class.
