The Fifth Annual Big Ten Network Awards Show is set to go down on Monday. The BTN Awards Show is used to recognize the best of Big Ten sports each year, with the fifth annual show covering the 2011-12 seasons among all student athletics. It's set for 7:30 p.m. ET on Monday and will be hosted by Dave Revsine, Mike Hall, and Rick Pizzo. The show will last one hour.

Among the awards given out, the most prestigious are the Suzy Favor Award, given to the best female student athlete, and the Jesse Owens Award, the male equivalent to that. There are also plenty of other awards, and Michigan and Michigan State find themselves in the thick of things.

There are some notable awards for both schools. Draymond Green of Michigan State is nominated for the "Most Dominating Performance" award for his game against LIU-Brooklyn on March 16. Michigan and Michigan State will be battling it out for "Best Finish" when Denard Robinson's 16-yard touchdown pass to Roy Roundtree against Notre Dame takes on Michigan State's victory over Wisconsin with the Hail Mary touchdown pass.

Michigan State has two nominees under "Game of the Year," with both of them coming against Wisconsin (on Oct. 22, 2011, and Dec. 4, 2011), while they'll be going against Michigan's outing against Notre Dame on Sept. 10, 2011. There are plenty of exciting awards so be sure to tune in.
