Henry Poggi To Announce Between Michigan, Alabama On Monday Morning

UPDATE: Poggi has committed to Michigan.

--

On Saturday, Michigan picked up a commitment from defensive tackle Maurice Hurst Jr. He may not be the only defensive tackle to join the Wolverines' 2013 class, though. On Monday morning, defensive tackle Henry Poggi is going to announce his decision, and Michigan has made his top two, along with Alabama.

Although nothing has been announced yet, things look promising with Poggi for Michigan. Shortly after Hurst Jr. committed, he said that the Wolverines should be on commit watch. There were several other reports of Michigan potentially adding commit No. 20, and with Poggi's announcement coming up on Monday, it's not tough to connect the dots.

More signs that Poggi will select Michigan come from 24/7 Sports' JC Shurburtt. He predicts that Michigan will land Poggi, and he tweeted this on Sunday:

If Alabama were Poggi's leader, they wouldn't be in a position to give up on landing him. What this means is that it appears Michigan is out in front, and barring a change of heart, it appears Poggi will be another four-star recruit to join the Wolverines' 2013 class. We will find out for sure on Monday morning.
