On Monday, the NCAA announced the punishments that Penn State will be suffering, and it's a doozy of a list that includes scholarship deductions, vacated wins and a lengthy post-season ban.
↵A full list of the penalties that have been levied by the NCAA can be found here.
↵Both the Michigan Wolverines and the Michigan State Spartans will get a chance to see the crippled Nittany Lions during their penalty period. Michigan will be facing off against them in 2013 and 2014 and MSU's schedule will pit them against each other in 2015 and 2016.
↵It will be very interesting to see what kind of teams Penn State will be fielding by that point. I's going to be open season on their current roster of players and the lack of scholarships for the next four years will all but doom their chances of fielding any competitive squads for a long time. Both MSU and U-M probably haven't been this happy to see Penn State on their schedules in a long time.
