Just one day after decommitting from Penn State, Ohio cornerback Ross Douglas has committed to Michigan. Douglas departed the Nittany Lions' recruiting class on Monday morning. Sanctions for Penn State's football program were announced on Monday morning by the NCAA, and Douglas wasted little time in reopening his recruitment.
Douglas also wasted little time in finding a new school. He was reoffered by Michigan on Tuesday morning (he had an offer from Michigan before committing to Penn State), and only a couple hours later he decided to commit to the Wolverines.

Douglas is a four-star recruit on Rivals, 24/7 Sports and ESPN. Scout lists him as a three-star recruit. On Rivals, he is ranked 22nd at his position, 15th in the state of Ohio and 222nd in the nation.
According to Rivals, Douglas holds offers from Michigan, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Penn State, Mississippi, Louisville, Maryland, Minnesota, Purdue and Tennessee, among other schools.
With Douglas committing, Michigan now has 23 players in its 2013 recruiting class. This means there are only a couple more spots at the most left. Considering it's only July, Michigan has plenty of time to fill those final spots.
