Michigan Football: Fitzgerald Toussaint Looks Like Himself In Return To Practice

Michigan Wolverines running back Fitzgerald Toussaint was suspended indefinitely following a July 21 drunk driving arrest. That suspension caused the player to miss a week of practice, but the back looked good on Monday when he returned to the team.

Mark Snyder of the Detroit Free Press reports that Toussaint will have to compete for a starting job this year, but has not visibly been affected by his missed week.

"He's looked good. Fitz is Fitz," offensive coordinator Al Borges said today, after Toussaint returned from his suspension Monday. "He hasn't looked any different. He's in great shape; he does what he does. He looks like Fitz to me, no more, no less."

Certainly Wolverines fans can breathe a sigh of relief that things are beginning to return to normal. It remains to be seen what will happen at Toussaint's arraignment hearing on Aug. 28.
