Senior left guard Elliott Mealer appears to be gaining a grasp on the starting left guard job on the offensive line for the Michigan Wolverines, according to reports.
Hoke said Elliott Mealer would be the guy at left guard "if game was tomorrow." Seems Mealer is beating out Joey Burzynski.

Mealer has been a reserve offensive lineman and special teams contributor throughout his career at Michigan, but it appears coach Brady Hoke is ready to put all of Mealer's experience to work in a starting role. Michigan camp opened up with an open competition for the left guard spot with redshirt sophomore Joey Burzynski and five-star freshman Kyle Kalis fighting for the spot with Mealer.
