Air Force Vs. Michigan: Wolverines Lead Early Thanks To Denard Robinson TD

The Michigan Wolverines didn't get off to the best start imaginable against unranked Air Force on Saturday afternoon, but the 19th-ranked team in the country still led 7-3 after the first quarter of play thanks to a huge Denard Robinson touchdown run.

Robinson caught a bit of flak for the Wolverines' defeat in the opening week, but his legs have never been a problem -- and that showed early Saturday afternoon, too, as he took a 79-yard run to the house to give Michigan a 7-0 lead. Robinson carried the ball six times for 85 yards in the first half and completed two of his three passes, too.

Fitzgerald Toussaint, returning from suspension, hasn't been used much yet as the running back carried the ball just three times for 6 yards in the opening quarter.

Air Force got on the board with a 22-yard field goal from Parker Herrington after their second drive of the day sputtered.
