The Detroit Pistons look to rebound against the Orlando Magic on Tuesday after a rough performance over the weekend in Milwaukee.
Detroit was smashed by the Milwaukee Bucks 108-91 on Saturday, dropping the Pistons to 1-2 in the preseason. The Pistons shot just 39.1 percent for the game and gave up 95 points through three quarters.
The one real bright spot of the night for Detroit was the play of rookie center Andre Drummond. The big man from Connecticut scored 19 points on 9-of-13 shooting and also pulled down 10 rebounds. It was the second strong performance for Drummond this preseason.
Orlando appears to be the perfect remedy for Detroit, as the new-look Magic are winless so far in three preseason tilts. This includes a 114-111 overtime loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night. The Magic are expected to struggle mightily this season while adjusting to life without superstar center Dwight Howard.
Power forward Glen Davis has had a nice preseason for Orlando, averaging 18.7 points and 8.3 rebounds in the three games.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET at The Palace Of Auburn Hills.
