NBA power rankings 2012: Pistons placed last in SB Nation's latest rankings

The struggling Detroit Pistons, still looking for their first victory of the season, have the latest SB Nation power rankings to point to as another example of their early-season futility.

As if the win-loss record wasn't enough, the Detroit Pistons have been placed last in the latest NBA power rankings from SB Nation's Seth Rosenthal, just the latest example of the team's early-season futility. While the Washington Wizards have also failed to win a game this season, Rosenthal notices that they've at least been close in many games.

For the Pistons, on the other hand, Rosenthal simply says that, "Andre Drummond's getting some minutes now (alongside Greg Monroe, too) and he's been a whole lot of fun. No need to worry about anything else."

Drummond has certainly been fun to watch so far, but fans should probably consider heeding Rosenthal's advice concerning not worrying about anything else. As the Pistons try to build around the new core of Drummond, Monroe, Rodney Stuckey and Brandon Knight, wins will be few and far between it appears.

The young guys will certainly give flashes of what's potentially come down the line, though, as Drummond did during his 22-point, eight-rebound outburst against the Oklahoma City Thunder last week.
