The Detroit Pistons look for their second straight win on Friday when they host the Orlando Magic. Detroit got its first win of the season on Wednesday with a 94-76 win over the Philadelphia 76ers and aim to turn that into a winning streak with a victory over the Magic.
Detroit (1-8) opened the season with eight straight losses, but earned a win over Sixers thanks to a strong defensive performance. The Pistons held Philly to just 29.8% shooting from the field and outrebounded the Sixers 57-38 thanks to 18 rebounds from Greg Monroe.
Now Detroit will take on a struggling Orlando Magic (2-5) team that has lost five straight after opening the season with back-to-back wins. Orlando expects to get starting point guard Jameer Nelson back on Friday; he has missed the Magic's last six games with a strained groin he suffered in the season opener. Over the last four games, Orlando has struggled to produce any offense, averaging just 76.5 points per game.
Friday's game tips off at 7:30 p.m. ET on Fox Sports Detroit.
