The Detroit Pistons will look to avoid an 0-2 start when they travel out West to take on the Phoenix Suns Friday night at the US Airways Center.

Detroit lost 105-96 at home to the Houston Rockets in their season opener Wednesday. The Pistons let that one slip away, as they took a 9-point lead into the fourth quarter before getting outscored 33-15 in the final frame. James Harden did the majority of the damage for the Rockets, tallying 37 points, 12 rebounds and six assists in his debut for the team.

Brandon Knight led Detroit with 15 points. However, Knight and backcourt mate Rodney Stuckey combined to shoot just 6-of-25 from the field. Big man Greg Monroe had 14 points and eight rebounds, while No. 9 overall pick Andre Drummond scored only 2 points in 13 minutes.

As for Phoenix, they also will be looking to avoid an 0-2 start. In their first game without Steve Nash, the Suns struggled offensively en route to an 87-85 loss to the Golden State Warriors. Goran Dragic had 17 points and eight assists to lead the Suns but, much like Knight, he struggled from the field.

Tip-off for Detroit and Phoenix is scheduled for 10:00 p.m. ET.
