Pistons vs. Magic final score: Detroit falls 90-74 to Orlando Wednesday

The Detroit Pistons shot just 32 percent from the field and 17 percent from behind the arc Wednesday in a 90-74 loss to Orlando. Detroit held a three-point halftime lead, but were outscored 26-8 in the third quarter and were unable to recover. The defeat drops the Pistons to 2-10 on the season, 1.5 games behind Cleveland in the Central Division. The Magic improve to 4-7 on the season.

Detroit was led by 19 points and eight boards from center Greg Monroe. Tayshaun Prince added 10 points and eight rebounds. Point guard Rodney Stuckey came off the bench to contribute 13 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Brandon Knight led the team with five assists.

Orlando got a double-double from Glen Davis, who finished with 11 points and 14 rebounds. Forward Andrew Nicholson added 15 points off the bench, and Arron Afflalo got 12 points and seven boards.

Detroit returns home to face the Toronto Raptors Friday. Orlando hosts Cleveland, also on Friday.
